Am I the only one who finds the Webb County Court's process of reviewing department managers in an open forum? I know this has been going on since I moved here in 1992, but isn't it kind of like watching a reality TV show?
Maybe that's what the commissioner's want, more face time where they sit "above" everyone in judgement. Kind of egotistical don't you think?
Of course, this is what we expect of elected officials from anywhere.
PS, it has nothing to do with open government. If that was the case, ALL government employees would be reviewed this way.
