Bush's Fault, Bush's Fault, Bush's Fault, Bush's Fault, Bush's Fault...

My mom once told me it took her telling me something 5 times before it got through my thick skull.  Well, I printed “Bush’s Fault” 5 times, but it is still not getting through to me.  The president has repeated this phrase, who knows how many times, and it still is not sticking.  So, am I still thick headed, or is the phrase worn out?

Worn out seems most likely.  Mr. President, “man up,” accept responsibility for something, anything, please.

Your jobs creation plan is has not worked.  Really cut regulations, make doing business easier in this country and the jobs will come.  Really, we have seen it happen before.

  1. Let me draw you a picture....

Be specific, what regulations are keeping people from opening a business?? I see people starting small businesses every day. There may be some local and State regulations that they have to deal with but I don't see anything that Obama has done to keep anyone from opening a business.

Has Obama tried to prevent another Enron or another 2008 - yes!! And that is a GOOD thing.

The Tea Party needs to learn how to govern and stop just repeating the rhetoric.

  2. Examples:

EPA ruling that carbon dioxide is a pollutant. That alone has delayed, at a minimum, millions in investment in US manufacturing and construction, as well as energy projects.

The EPA's proposed rules on air quaility that will further hamstring development in the United States. Air rules so stringent that Yellowstone National Park may fail air quaility standards.

And if it is not fear of future regulation and rules, why are all the large corporations keeping their money versus investment in capital?

  3. Would you invest in something that people day after day told you was no good? Listen to any of the Tea Party political speeches and you will hear that the US is no good. Listen to the talk shows - the US is run by a socialist, marxist, muslim (and until recently foreign born) president that could not manage a corner lemonade stand. Do you want to get out your wallet and invest in that??

Having been to Yellowstone I can tell you that there are places there that due to sulphur emissions it is very hard to breathe - there are warning signs! Why would I want to breathe that on a daily basis if I don't have to. Remember what the Hudson river used to be like in NY. Do you think that the polluters all just got together and fixed that out of the goodness of their little hearts??

  4. You are right, let's keep regulating as we are. Let's call carbon dioxide a pollutant. Let's spend billions to clean water that is already ok to drink.

    What was I thinking?
